Redbridge Council has introduced two Mobility Hubs in South Woodford and Wanstead since autumn 2020. The Mobility Hubs are currently open for everybody to use. The public can provide feedback via the Council’s own consultation process.

The EX-TRA research project studied your views about Redbridge Mobility Hubs from January to July 2022, through this Commonplace site, by talking to people on the street and by organising a workshop for community members.

Redbridge Council will make a decision about the future of the South Woodford Mobility Hub by June 2022. This decision is made separately from the EX-TRA project; however, EX-TRA researchers will inform the Council of their findings collected through Commonplace.

The University of Westminster is analysing the data from your survey responses. Preliminary findings were shared with Redbridge Council in December 2022. The final research findings will be published on the project website: https://www.ex-tra-project.eu/blog.

Surveys closed, EX-TRA project continues

The EX-TRA research project (Experimenting with City Streets to Transform Urban Mobility) is studying the Mobility Hubs implemented by the London Borough of Redbridge, which combine a 'parklet' as a pleasant place to sit and socialise, with access to multiple transport options.

The aim of the EX-TRA project is to understand your views about the Mobility Hubs.
